The Andrews Labor Government has failed thousands of Victorians who remain without power and other basic essentials.
Four days after damaging winds across Victoria almost 6,000 Victorian households are still in the dark and fending for themselves.
The Dandenong Ranges and many other parts of Victoria still face days with no power just as we emerge from the world’s longest lockdown.
The Andrews Labor Government must focus on reconnecting Victorians to essential services and helping local communities recover. Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Emergency Services, Brad Battin: “Four days on from damaging winds and Victorian families are rightfully asking why they can’t get power or access to the internet.
“As we emerge from lockdown, the last thing we need is local communities being left behind.
“The Andrews Government must stop its spin and ensure all families in the dark are reconnected urgently.”
