Daniel Andrews needs to get his story straight on the Metro Tunnel costs.
The project’s cost has blown out by $2.07 billion and now Bill Shorten is conveniently offering $2 billion in pre-election promises for the tunnel.
Yet Daniel Andrews said today the project is fully funded by Victorian taxpayers. Either it is or it isn’t.
No wonder cost blowouts in Victoria’s projects are now over $25 billion. This government can’t manage project costs and now can’t even tell what an election promise will fund.
Labor can’t manage money and when they run out they come after yours.
