The Andrews Government must today dump its plan to slug Victorians with yet another tax on new homebuyers.

The Premier needs to give certainty to Victorians that his tax plan is dead, and won’t come back.
Shadow Treasurer, David Davis said: “The Premier must give Victorians clarity today that the tax will not happen.”
Labor’s plan is to hit developers with a 1.75 per cent levy, which the industry says would add around $20,000 to the cost of an average new build.
Mr Davis continued:
“This is a nasty, unfair tax – the latest of many from Labor.
“It needs to go, and it needs to go today.”
