AusNet must come clean

The storms are now a week ago and power is still out for thousands. The Andrews Labor Government are silent as many families still have no fridge, no internet and some even no access to water. This is not what we expect in a modern society. Daniel Andrews’ Energy Minister Lily D’Ambrosio must tell the community: When will the power be on? Will all families be compensated for lost power? Did AusNet have all available crews on to get power supply on, or were they running minimum staff levels over the long weekend? Where are the generators the government purchased earlier in the year? Why is the Deputy Premier silent when many residents are in his own electorate? These are the questions my office is getting, and I am confident James Merlino is getting but ignoring. This is a disgrace and action must be taken. All power must be reconnected today.
