Daniel Andrews backflips and adopts Liberal Nationals’ phones in schools policy

In February last year the Liberal Nationals announced a policy that would ban students using mobile phones during class time in Victorian public schools.

At the time, Daniel Andrews criticised the policy saying:

“On a matter like this, and indeed many other matters, it is not for us to be directing schools.”

In an embarrassing backflip, Daniel Andrews has now apparently seen the light and will adopt the Liberal Nationals’ policy.

Daniel Andrews has once again been shown up for putting politics before good policy to the detriment of Victorian school students.

If Daniel Andrews is looking for more Liberal Nationals policies to adopt, he should start with accepting $4 billion from the Federal Liberal Nationals Government to build the East West Link.
