Daniel Andrews’ refusal to offer a fair pay rise to our hardworking police is nothing short of outrageous.
In 2014 Daniel Andrews had signs up in his office in Parliament House saying that a 2.5% pay rise wasn’t enough and yet now he won’t budge off 2%.
There has never been a tougher time to be a police officer in Victoria with stations being chronically understaffed and officers subjected to violence daily.
Daniel Andrews was happy to march in the streets with union leaders before the last election, but now he’s refusing to come to the table with a fair pay deal.
Our hardworking police deserve to be treated with respect and fairly paid instead of being treated with contempt by the Andrews Labor Government.
