Investing in growing Cranbourne West’s sporting infrastructure

A Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will invest $40,000 to deliver a new fence at Barton Recreation Reserve in Cranbourne West. The investment will provide Barton United Football Club and the local community with more functional space for sports and recreation

Shadow Minister for Sport, Cindy McLeish, said investing in suburban sporting infrastructure was a priority.

“The Liberals and Nationals are investing in the sporting facilities which Victorians interact with every day, so that they continue to enjoy the physical, mental and social health benefits they provide.”

Liberal Candidate for Cranbourne, Jagdeep Singh, said the reserve lies in the heart of the growing Cranbourne West.

“This new fence will mean teams can take full advantage of the field without the worry of the ball bouncing onto the road or smashing through someone’s window.”
