Labor and Upper House crossbench vote to tear apart the CFA

Today in the Upper House of the Victorian Parliament Labor MPs and crossbenchers have voted to destroy the CFA.

Labor MPs, Greens MP Samantha Ratnam and crossbenchers Andy Meddick, Catherine Cumming and Fiona Patten have all today voted to tie presumptive rights cancer rights for fire fighters to destroying the CFA as we know it.

These Labor, Greens Party and the crossbencher MPs have voted to marginalise our CFA volunteers. They have voted to treat our CFA volunteers as second class citizens and put the safety of Victorians at risk.

There is now just one more chance for Upper House to choose to protect the CFA, not destroy it.

The crossbench must listen to our community, to our dedicated CFA volunteers, and not sell them out like Daniel Andrews and his Labor mates.
