February daily metropolitan train performance figures confirm that commuters can’t rely on a Labor run train network to get to work or school.
Under Labor’s watch, commuters endured a 95 per cent work day punctuality FAIL on the metro network during February – the worst result since we began monitoring daily punctuality, in July 2019.
In February, Melbourne’s trains failed to deliver services at the required punctuality standard 19 out of 20 working days.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Public Transport (Metropolitan), David Davis:
“The Andrews Labor Government has again failed to deliver acceptable punctuality on metropolitan trains for 19 out of 20 workdays in February – a 95 per cent fail.
“The Liberal Nationals inherited from 87.2 per cent performance from Labor in November 2010 and delivered a metro system performing at 94.3 per cent punctuality by November 2014.”
