Last month’s train performance figures for Melbourne confirm that commuters can’t get to where they need to go – when they need to get there – during work hours.
In November, metro train punctuality targets were met on nine Saturdays and Sundays, and one public holiday.
Of the 20 working days in November, Melbourne’s trains failed to deliver services at the required punctuality standard on all but four days.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Public Transport (Metropolitan), David Davis:
“Daniel Andrews has again failed Melbourne commuters who were let down 16 out of 20 workdays in November – more often than not, we’re spending more times waiting for or sitting on trains, rather than getting home on time.”
“Despite the billions spent on rail infrastructure projects and endless empty promises, all Daniel Andrews and Labor have delivered to metro rail commuters is a serious punctuality decline.”
