Militant unions are still in control of Victoria

Daniel Andrews and Labor have failed to prevent 640 dock workers beginning a 96-hour strike at the Port of Melbourne.

It has been reported that the strike will hold up the delivery of medical supplies as well as the export of perishable goods.

The Andrews Labor Government is letting the Labor-affiliated CFMMEU run Victoria at the cost of ordinary Victorians and small businesses.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Ports, Roma Britnell:

“Farmers have suffered through drought and don’t deserve to have their products rot at the docks because of Daniel Andrews’ union mates.”

“Instead of marching with his union mates, Daniel Andrews should be immediately acting to halt the strikes.”

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Industrial Relations, Nick Wakeling:

“This militant union has threatened a return to industrial warfare on building sites, and now it’s moving to disrupt our ports.”

“The Premier’s lack of leadership has proven to John Setka and others that in Victoria union bosses can act without consequences.”
