South Yarra Station – all pain, no gain

Massive disruptions are set to hit our rail lines, including a great rail shut down, with 9 train lines being shut down for over 3 weeks in April. We all understand disruptions are a part of building infrastructure, but that’s why it’s so important to get it right the first time.

Labor is building the Metro Tunnel under South Yarra Station but determined that trains would not actually stop there.

The Cranbourne and Pakenham lines will be disconnected from South Yarra Station by Daniel Andrews and Labor.

This disconnection of South Yarra from the Metro Tunnel is a massive mistake that the Andrews Labor Government refuses to acknowledge, let alone fix.

If Labor is going to disrupt the daily commute of up to 1.5 million Victorians by building infrastructure; the very least they can do is to get the job done properly the first time.
