Tram passengers pay the price for Labor’s industrial relations failure

Commuters and tourists are being left in the cold today with industrial action now affecting Melbourne’s tram services.

Services are being disrupted from the first to last tram today, with further disruptions expected later this week, including a network-wide disruption between 10am and 2pm on Friday 30th August.

Tram drivers recently joined train drivers, ticket inspectors, doctors, police and the Premier’s own ministerial staff in taking or threatening industrial action.

For too long, Daniel Andrews has been missing in action on industrial relations, and now services are being disrupted with no end in sight.

Daniel Andrews needs to do start doing his job and bring an end to industrial disputes threatening Victoria’s public services. Nick Wakeling MP Shadow Minister for Industrial Relations and Workplace Safety
