Industrial action shutting down Melbourne’s trams today was unnecessary and preventable.
This is the second shut down of the tram network in as many months, and there is no end in sight to these strikes disrupting passengers.
Even union leader Luba Grigorovich is now calling on hapless Transport Minister Melissa Horne to do her job, questioning if she is “asleep at the wheel” and “out of her depth”.
Daniel Andrews and Melissa Horne must stop being passengers to this dispute.
The Andrews Labor Government must change its course and cease its “do nothing” approach to industrial relations.
